How to Review Your Year For Growth
In this podcast episode, licensed therapist Katie Rössler discusses her method for reviewing the past year and preparing for the new one. She suggests a reflective writing exercise, where individuals write down their experiences and emotions from each month, summarizing them with a word or symbol. She also encourages writing down things one wishes to leave behind from the past year, symbolically releasing them by burning the list. This practice, she believes, helps to start the new year with a clean slate, fostering a mindset of growth and self-discovery.
